Nessus Scanner - vulnerability scanning for system hardening
Apache - http and shttp you will manage a web server and a secure web server
Maybe an FTP Server - old but sort of good practice to understand how we got 
	to here and a good lesson in keeping services secure
sshd of course
A mail transfer agent such as Sendmail
Samba Server - you will run a SMB File Server to support Windows Hosts
NFS
Domain Name Server - BIND Berkley Internet Name Daemon
Firewall such as IPTables
Snort - active intrusion Detection System
TCP Wrappers if we get around to it
