Service Level Agreement Fall `09


1. When your system crashes, you must restore it by the
   end of the second class period after the incident.

2. EACH group member must implement the plan independently, based upon
   the tar ball that root generates.

3. All backup routines must be running by 
   midnight, November 4th, 2009.

4. All backups are to be stored on shaula, in your home directory. 
   No abuse of shaula is allowed.

5. When your machine goes down, it really goes down. 

6. Directory /tmp/goodguys_dir must be restored, /tmp does not have to 
   be fully restored. Logfiles also do not have to be restored.

7. Backups have to be run every 24 hours; 
   incremental backups are not required.

8. As root on your system, smauney will not change other users'
   cron jobs, backups, or settings.
