Lab Ch 10 pp. 301-316

Both Sections.

Take Exercise 8 several times, while you are taking it be sure that
you are practicing in a shell and looking at the man (info) pages for the 
various utilities.

Also read and use the web pages "Variables and Arguments" and 
"Process Management" as references/study guides as linked to in 
the Week 6 Schedule. 

Classroom section, work with a friend during lab, 

While you are studying this stuff you will make 3 postings to the 
discussion board, all with the title "Ch 10 Lab: [util_name] .

I will be grading your lab based upon the depth of your questions,
understanding of the material and/or helping the other students 
understand. 


In the tab called "Labs" in angel you will find a discussion board
named "Lab 9- Ch 10" You will make your posts in there for this lab.

I ran "apropos ps" and I found that there is a utility called pstree
and it is really good in that it shows you all of the parent/child
relationships of the processes in a tree like structure.
